This week we began research projects that will last for the rest of the semester. In preparation for this, please write two paragraphs to help you think about your past experiences with the research process. The first paragraph should begin, "The hardest part of the research process for me is _________________" and the second should begin, "The easiest part of the research process (or the part I enjoy most) is _________________."
In these paragraphs you can discuss: finding academic sources, evaluating those sources, refining a thesis, finding relevant quotes, citing quotes properly, integrating other people's quotes into your own argument, organizing all the information you find, or any other part of the writing process you'd like.
