Week 5 Blog Prompt

This week's focus (as well as the topic of your second essay) has been Visual Analysis. To practice your skills of noticing and asking the "so what?" question, perform a quick visual analysis of one element a familiar website. This could include something such as "the impact of font choice on my favorite band's website," "the impact of color and background design on my friend Kelly's MySpace Page," or "the significance of many images but minimal text on the Sartorialist blog." First identify the element you're going to talk about (text, color, font, etc.) Then describe the impact it has on the way you think about the website/page or its author.
